When I was learning to read, my favorite book was The Little Princess. I would make my mom read it to me over and over again! And then, when my reading got better, I started reading it to myself, over and over again. My point is simple: there is something so comforting and joyous about familiar stories.
But even better than the same story over again, is that story with a twist–a fresh take on a familiar favorite. I might even claim that The Little Princess is a twist on Cinderella (or at least inspired by).
