“It is not happiness that makes us grateful. It’s gratefulness that makes us happy.” —Br. David Steindl-Rast
Live this year with gratitude with this calendar from Grateful Living, a nonprofit organization that promotes the transformative practice of gratefulness. Here are inspirational quotes: “The only way we can make the most of our lives is to make the most of our moments.” (Cleo Wade) And thoughtful prompts: When things feel uncertain, how can I remind myself to look for possibilities in the unknown? There are gratefulness practices, too: When you rouse from sleep, connect with your breath and heartbeat. Notice that you are fully alive to greet another day. Compact enough for a desk, and featuring a magnetic backer for hanging, it’s a calendar to place wherever a daily reminder of gratitude would be most welcome.
