In this darkly seductive fantasy romance, a woman must charm, then betray, a monster if she is to return home—but the closer they become, the more she questions who the true villain is.

Transported to the magical realm of Avalon, Gwen finds herself in the hands of its dark and beautiful ruler—Mordred, nephew to King Arthur and the reviled Prince in Iron. The prince holds total power in Avalon, trapping anyone with magic in an enchanted crystal prison. When Gwen discovers she has magical talent of her own, she strikes a deal with Mordred’s enemy, seeing no other way to escape. If she can break the crystal, she will be free to go home.

Only Mordred shows a strange gentleness to Gwen. He allows her to join his court, treating her as a treasured guest, despite promising that she too will soon be a prisoner in the crystal. And as they draw closer, his passion and anger burn even brighter, the desire between them becoming an inferno.

Gwen would be foolish to trust him. And even more foolish to betray his trust . . .
