Storey – Wonder Walls Mural Design Directions

Wonder Walls Mural Design Directions

Welcome, we hope you are enjoying Wonder Walls by Phoebe Cornog and Roxy Prima!

If you want to make your murals look just like the designs Phoebe and Roxy painted for the book, simply download this design template file and follow the directions listed for each project below.

Simple Typography

Project the lettering onto the wall where you want the mural. Adjust the size of the lettering to your liking by positioning the projector closer to or farther from the wall.

Floral Stencil

Print the design at 100%, and cut out the floral shape to use as a stencil. If you want larger floral stencils in your mural, take the printout to a copy shop to have it enlarged to your desired size.

Complex Flowers

Project the design onto the wall where you want the mural. Adjust the size of the flower to your liking by positioning the projector closer to or farther from the wall.

Mailbox Glow Up

Print the design at 100%.

Wild Welcome Mat

Print the design at 100% to use as reference for freehanding your version. If you want your welcome mat to look exactly like what is included in the book (and you’re feeling ambitious!), take the design to a copy shop and enlarge it to a size that fills your mat. Then cut out the negative space of the leopard spots, lay the sheet over the mat, and paint in the cutout spaces. Note that a few of the leopard spots have interior spots. If you’re using the design template as a stencil, just improvise on those spots so you’ll be sure to have the unpainted mat showing through.

Try any of these projects at home? We love to see! Share them with us @pandrdesignco and @storeypub.
