About the Author
Silvia López is a first-generation Cuban American. She holds a bachelor’s in English, a specialist’s degree in educational technology, and a master’s in library science. For over three decades, she served as a children’s librarian in Miami, Florida. Silvia is the author of fifteen books for children, including

Geraldo Valério was born in Brazil, where he received a bachelor of arts in drawing, followed by a master of arts at New York University. He is the illustrator of many highly acclaimed books for children, including
Giraffe Math, which was a CBC-NSTA Best Stem Book of the Year and a CBC Librarian Favorite, as well as being the author of
My Book of Butterflies,
My Book of Birds, and
