The ultimate guide to creating a home that lights you up, from designer Jenni Yolo of @ISpyDIY

Inspiring, hands-on, and refreshingly approachable, this guide by designer Jenni Yolo proves that great home design doesn’t have to be complicated or costly. Jenni introduces her ten foundational steps for creating a room, including a key principle that brings it all together: Choose Your Muse. Whether it’s an heirloom quilt or a favorite flower from the garden, one meaningful object can become the touchstone for the design decisions that follow.

Readers will learn how to breathe new life into a room, from kitchens to kids’ spaces. Along the way, Jenni delves into paint, lighting, antiquing, tile, and wallpaper, and shares DIY projects and ideas ranging from a personalized plate wall to painting outdated cabinets. After more than a decade of renovating homes for clients, as personal projects, and on TV, she shares the lessons she’s learned to help you skip the second-guessing and confidently create a home you love.
