A Little Princess in Los Angeles

Far away from her home in South Korea, Sara Crewe must find a way to adjust to life at her new Los Angeles boarding school in this modern-day graphic adaption of A Little Princess.

Sara Crewe misses her dad. While he’s deployed overseas, she’s being sent to boarding school in Los Angeles. It’s not all bad—she makes new friends quickly and finds comfort in creating fantastical stories to share with the other girls. But there’s one person Sara can’t get through to: the school’s caretaker, Mrs. Minchin. 

Mrs. Minchin seems to dislike everything about Sara. When Sara helps the other girls with their endless chores, she is chastised. When she challenges Mrs. Minchin’s unfair rules, she’s punished. And when her father is terribly injured, leaving her to remain at school through the summer, Mrs. Minchin tries her hardest to break Sara’s spirit. 
 
But Sara’s kindness, perseverance, and love of storytelling help her—and her new friends— through even the worst of times. Will that be enough for Sara to create her own fairy tale ending?
