About the Author
Tereasa Surratt is the co-owner and creative director of Camp Wandawega, a historic Wisconsin retreat known for its distinctive blend of design, preservation, and storytelling. Over the past two decades, she and her husband, David Hernandez, have transformed the century-old property into a gathering place for artists, designers, and travelers seeking a nostalgic, creative escape. Named one of Travel + Leisure’s “Greatest Hotels in the World,” Camp Wandawega now spans hospitality, interiors, publishing, and collaborations. Tereasa and David reside in Chicago with their teen and one very furry four-legged “kid.” Camp Wandawega proudly rates itself one-eighth of a star.
