Makeda Easter is a creative and journalist whose writing has appeared in theLos Angeles Times,American Theatre, and Dance magazine. Through her platform, the art rebellion, she reports on the intersection of the arts and economic justice. A Rabkin Prize finalist, she previously held fellowships with the Wallace House Center for Journalists and the Center for Racial Justice at the University of Michigan.
