About the Author

Lilia Vargas Costello took inspiration from her own experiences growing up mixed race and bisexual in the state of Florida to write BORDERLINE. She currently lives in New York City, where she works for the United Nations. Before that, she received her BA and MA in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway University of London and spent three years in Japan as an English teacher.
