Hunter Lewis is a chef, food journalist, and Editor in Chief of Food & Wine magazine. Since his tenure began in 2017, his team has won multiple James Beard and IACP awards, as well as a National Magazine Award from the American Society of Magazine Editors. Before Food & Wine, Hunter served as executive editor at Southern Living, food editor at Bon Appétit, and kitchen director at Saveur. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with chefs at Michelin-starred restaurants and other culinary tastemakers, incorporating their tips, tricks, and expertise into his cooking at home. Hunter lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife and two daughters.
