About the Author

Helen Rennie is a cooking instructor, YouTube creator, and founder of Helen’s Kitchen Cooking School. A former usability engineer with a passion for cooking, Helen is known for her “geeky,” technique-focused approach. Her intimate, hands-on classes often sell out months in advance. Helen gained restaurant experience at several outstanding Boston restaurants and has taught more than 1,000 students through her cooking classes. Originally from Moscow, Russia, she now lives in the Boston suburbs with her husband and two children.
