About the Author

Ginny Neil is an author, illustrator, former teacher, and Master Naturalist. When she’s not slogging through a marsh trying to spot spring peepers or chasing errant sheep across mountains and meadows, she writes about all the things and people that make the Earth such a fun and fascinating place to live. Ginny writes scripts for The Skit Guys, a Christian drama group, and is a contributing editor for Blue Ridge Country magazine. She is the author and illustrator of The Glorious Forest That Fire Built and A River of Wind (Amicus Ink, 2023/2026) and the author of Salamander Song (Tilbury House, 2025).
