Dani Shapiro is the author of eleven books, including the New York Times bestselling memoir Inheritance and bestselling novel Signal Fires. She writes regularly for The New York Times Book Review and Opinion pages. She is cofounder of the Sirenland Writers Conference and host of the long-running hit podcast Family Secrets. Her books have been translated into fifteen languages. She lives in Connecticut with her family.
