Claire Atkinson has written about the media business for three decades from both the US and Europe with credits including The New York Times, The Independent and The Observer, among many others. She is founder of the media, tech and marketing focused podcast and newsletter “The Media Mix,” which launched as one of the Top 25 of all business podcasts on Apple. She is a contributing editor at Hollywood publication The Ankler and most recently, the New York-based Chief Media Correspondent at Insider. As NBC News’ Senior Media Editor she worked both on air and online contributing to MSNBC’s Meet the Press, Nightly News, and Today, among other shows. Atkinson has frequently joined shows including Squawk Box, Good Morning America, BBC News, and CBS News Streaming to discuss big topics in the media industry such as Bob Iger’s return to Disney and Fox’s legal troubles.
