How To Help Kids Get Over Their Fear of the Dark

Kids might think of nighttime as a scary thing: it’s dark, unfamiliar, and not something they’re used to. However, the night can be an exciting thing for children to explore with a trusted adult – especially if they’re aspiring mystics! This activity sheet inspired by The Night School for Young Mystics will help the kids in your life observe the night sky in a whole new way.

Whether their focus is on astronomy, astrology, or the simple magic that can be found on a beautiful night, children will be dazzled by the things they’re able to observe in the sky.

Explore: Have kids bring new perspectives to familiar places by letting their imaginations run wild in a safe environment.

Write: Give them the tools to take field trips, tune into the sounds of the night, unleash their inner poet, and freely express their creativity!

Discover: Children will be able to explore the day’s opposite with a confidence that illuminates all in their path.

Share this activity sheet with them so they can demystify (and then remystify) the Night!
