Hachette Book Group and Global Brother Announce Sales and Distribution Agreement, Workman Acquires The Green Pill Solution

NEW YORK, NY (October 19, 2026) — Hachette Book Group (HBG) today announced an agreement to represent Global Brother, the publisher behind a fast-growing catalog of self-reliance, herbal reference, and practical living titles, including The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies. The arrangement took effect October 5, 2026. Additionally, Workman has acquired The Green Pill Solution by Nicole Apelian. The deals were brokered by Albert Lee and Rebecca Gradinger of United Talent Agency.
HBG will handle sales and distribution for the Global Brother list across the US and Canada, taking its titles into wholesale and brick-and-mortar retail stores.
“Global Brother has done an incredible job building a readership from the ground up, outside the traditional retail path. Our job is to give those books a shelf presence to match the following they have worked to develop,” said Russell Evans, SVP of Business Development, Hachette Book Group.
Global Brother joins a growing HBG US Distribution roster that includes a diverse range of publishers. HBG provides bespoke sales and distribution support based on each client’s business model and unique needs.
Global Brother reached readers first through direct channels, where titles such as Forgotten Home Apothecary, and The Lost Skills of Independence found large audiences selling millions of copies worldwide and being translated in over 15 languages so far.
Founded in 2015 by Claudiu Giurgi, Global Brother grew from a local European company to a global presence with over 12 branches, including two in USA and one in Canada.
“The distribution agreement with Hachette will make our books available to our customers right in their local stores. Not a day goes by, that we don’t receive messages from our clients asking where to buy our books in stores. It was just the normal course to find a solid partner that can deliver our books right where they are needed” said Claudiu Giurgi, founder of Global Brother.
Evans added, “There is a large audience for this kind of practical, keep-on-the-shelf reference, and we are excited to bring Global Brother titles to more readers.”
Lia Ronnen, SVP Publisher and Editorial Director of Workman, said, “Nicole Apelian has the rare ability to walk the line between science and natural holistic care, and she can speak to both worlds authentically and with true expertise. We are thrilled to publish The Green Pill Solution next spring; it is a book that has the potential to help just about everyone, whether they are dealing with significant health issues or just looking to optimize their everyday health and longevity.”
Nicole Apelian’s The Green Pill Solution: A Science-Backed, Integrated Approach to Wellness and Longevity will be published by Workman in hardcover on April 6, 2027.
