Untitled Demetri Martin 3

By Demetri Martin (Hardcover Book, 2016)
From brainy comedian and New York Times bestselling author Demetri Martin comes a collection of hilarious and high-concept short stories.

Demetri Martin's first book, This is a Book, was a mixture of short stories, smart jokes, and many of his signature drawings. Where his second book, Point Your Face At This, was all illustrations, this book will be all short stories. This work of remarkably clever fiction will provide a return to the longer-form comedy pieces that fans have been eagerly awaiting since his debut and the particular brand of quick-witted humor, wordplay, and youth culture commentary that Martin is known for. With wonderful stories that could be equally at home in the pages of The New Yorker as much as on the homepage of Wired.com, book three will deliver the intelligence, humor, and singularity that Martin's fans have come to expect from his work.

Demetri Martin rose to relative obscurity doing stand-up comedy. He was a writer for Late Night with Conan O'Brien, a regular performer on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and starred in his own television series, Important Things with Demetri Martin. Martin has appeared in many films including Ang Lee's Taking Woodstock. His books, This Is a Book and Point Your Face At This were both New York Times bestsellers.
