Sebastian Rotella

Sebastian Rotella is an award-winning senior reporter for Propublica, an independent organization dedicated to investigative journalism. He covers issues including international terrorism, organized crime, homeland security and immigration. Previously, he worked for 23 years for the Los Angeles Times, serving as bureau chief in Paris and Buenos Aires. He was a Pulitzer finalist in international reporting in 2006. His investigation of the 2008 Mumbai attacks was at the center of a 2011 Frontline documentary ("A Perfect Terrorist") that was nominated for an Emmy, and the online version of the story resulted in his third Overseas Press Club Award. He is the author of the novel Triple Crossing and the nonfiction book, Twilight on the Line, which was a New York Times Notable Book.
