About the Author

Nikki Van De Car is the author of over a dozen books, including the bestselling Practical Magic and The Invisible Wild, her first YA novel. She is an indigenous creator, focusing on exploring the ways in which story (mo‘olelo) informs how we understand the world and ourselves.
