From Japan’s revered “god of management” comes this classic guide to living well, leading wisely, and flourishing in a constantly changing world.

Face each day with purpose and enthusiasm. Prosperity should serve people and society. Make wise, courageous decisions. Perseverance and resilience matter.

In 1968, Japanese industrialist and philosopher of ethical capitalism Konosuke Matsushita—the visionary entrepreneur behind Panasonic—wrote a profound manifesto on how to find fulfillment during challenging times. An enduring bestseller that is as relevant today as ever, The Path is a collection of timeless wisdom for both individuals and organizations alike.

In spare and reflective prose, Matsushita offers compassionate advice for life and work on topics ranging from accepting adversity and practicing tolerance to cultivating a spirit of independence and learning from mistakes. Perfect to dip into for daily inspiration, this book is an essential compass for meaningfully navigating our own unique path.
