Pursued

A crime committed offstage threatens to disrupt the star turn of Detective Michael Bennett’s eldest daughter.

Detective Michael Bennett is a proud father to his ten children, and is shows when his eldest daughter, Juliana, steps into the spotlight, starring in an Off-Broadway play.

Then Juliana’s understudy turns up with a black eye and a strange story about a robbery, and Bennett’s investigative instincts kick in.

But the detective is a man down—his loyal partner, Rob Trilling, has been sidelined by order of a new station chief—and is hit hard when a tech-driven turf war rocks the city.

When both young actors are swept into an illicit hunt for millions of dollars, their pursuers don’t care whether it’s the understudy who pays—or the star.
