Little monsters need to learn their manners in this humorous, educational, and playfully spooky board book for fans of Universal’s classic monsters!

The Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy, Wolfman, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Invisible Man, the Phantom of the Opera, and Frankenstein learn basic manners at their local daycare from their charming teacher, Nanny Grimsley, in this delightful board book officially licensed with Universal Monsters! From saying please to sharing toys to not running inside, the little movie monsters remind the youngest readers (and even some grownups) to be polite, be kind, and always mind your manners!

David Ian and Rebekah McKendry met in their undergraduate Theatre Arts program, where they quickly began writing spooky plays together. Many years (and a couple of kids later), they are an acclaimed horror writing and film-directing duo. They have made multiple feature films and have written and worked for many acclaimed companies, including Fangoria, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Blumhouse, AMC Network, Universal Studios, Dark Horse, Shudder, Paramount, and more. David and Rebekah have two kids, two dogs, two cats, and several tarantulas. They can often be found on the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland or touring the country in their camper.

Román Díaz was born in Mexico. Since he was a child, he always wanted to draw like adults, and now that he is an adult, he likes to draw like children. He’s created illustrations for books, video games, and many other projects. He likes to eat colorful fruits and vegetables and admires animals in documentaries because it seems they have superpowers.
