Tom Spence is the founding editor of the Basic Liberty imprint, where he acquires works on politics, history, culture, and religion for the conservative market. Previously, he was an editor and then publisher at Regnery. He has worked with Yoram Hazony, Mollie Hemingway, George Gilder, Abigail Shrier, Robert P. George, and R. R. Reno, among others, and his forthcoming books include works by Justice Samuel Alito, Rod Dreher, Patrick Deneen, Spencer Klavan, and Mary Harrington.
