Lauren Chung, Publicist

Lauren Chung is a Publicist at Little, Brown and Company. She primarily focuses on the Voracious and Spark imprints, lending her hand to titles across cooking, lifestyle, health/wellness, science, and psychology/self-help categories. Previously, she worked at Penguin Random House where she worked on memoirs, non-fiction titles in the food, interior design, and travel spaces, as well as debut fiction. Lauren has worked on campaigns with bestselling authors including Eric Kim, Sarah Fennel, Molly Baz, Ina Garten, Alison Roman, Ali Stafford, Claire Saffitz, and Michelle Obama. She enjoys working with Asian American authors, such as Calvin Eng, Delia Cai, and Kaila Yu, to amplify their voices in the literary world and beyond.

In her free time, Laurenvolunteers with Muddy Paws Rescue, a non-profit, foster-based dog rescue that has saved over 10,000 dogs since its start in 2016. Lauren has fostered a total of 14 dogs in her various tiny NYC apartments, including her foster-to-forever dog, Chef. Most Saturdays you can find Lauren volunteering at adoption events around the city.
