Stuart Petre Brodie Mais (1885–1975) was an English writer and broadcaster. The author of more than 200 books, he was also a journalist for the Oxford Times. Hebegan to broadcast “Letter from America” for the BBC in 1933. His works include See England First (1927), The Cornish Riviera (1928), It Isn’t Far from London (1930), Southern Rambles for Londoners (1931), The Highlands of Britain (1932), and This Unknown Island (1932).
