Julian S. Corbett

Sir Julian Stafford Corbett  (1854–1922) was a prominent civilian British naval historian and geostrategist whose writings and lectures provided pre-World War One Britain with invaluable lessons in naval strategy. He is the author of the highly respected Some Principles of Maritime Strategy, which remains a classic among students of naval warfare.
