Henry Osborn Taylor (1856–1941) was an American historian who specialized in ancient and medieval civilizations. Among his books are Ancient Ideals (1896); The Medieval Mind (1911); Thought and Expression in the Sixteenth Century (1930); and A Historian’s Creed (1939). He was also president of the American Historical Association.
