George Burton Adams

George Burton Adams (1851–1925) was a highly esteemed American historian who specialized in medieval history. He taught at Yale University for nearly forty years and played a key role in the establishment of the American Historical Review. He wrote Civilization During the Middle Ages, and Growth of the French Nation, among other works.
