Ethel M. Dell

Ethel May Dell (1881–1939) was a British author of romance novels. Her early stories were published in magazines. A shy young woman, her novels were filled with passion and desire. After being rejected by eight publishers, her first novel, The Way of an Eagle, became a major success.
