Help Kids Learn About Their Communities

Kids might be used to observing their communities, but they might not be able to pinpoint what makes everyone within them so different. Teach kids how to turn “us” into “we” with this fun and inspiring activity sheet inspired by We Are Immigrants!

The unique tapestries of their neighborhoods are perfect for a young artist’s eye: familiar people might have unfamiliar backgrounds that would be interesting for them to explore. Have kids learn more about members of their community – their family, friends, teachers, neighbors, and more – and let them share that knowledge with a creative spin!

By using this activity sheet, kids will be able to replicate the diversity and vibrancy of their neighborhoods through art, and find new appreciation for the people around them!
