Sofia Sanchez, Editorial Assistant


Sofia Sanchez is an Editorial Assistant at Little, Brown and Little, Brown Spark. She is drawn to works of cultural criticism, literary memoir, investigative journalism, and narrative nonfiction, particularly those that explore gender, sexuality, social inequity, diaspora, or a particular subculture. On the practical nonfiction side, she is interested in authors who speak to a specific community and fill a need that helps the greater good. She has worked alongside authors such as Jeff Goodell, Richard Kreitner, Joshua Bennet, Casey Gerald, Thomas Doherty, Justin Garcia, Gary Slutkin, Nicole R. Fleetwood, Christina Applegate, Rahawa Haile, and Stephi Wagner, among others. Sofia graduated from New York University with a BA in Colonialism and Native American and Indigenous Studies.
