Morgan Wu, Associate Editor

Morgan Wu is an Associate Editor at Little, Brown, where she publishes narrative nonfiction and select literary fiction.

Within nonfiction, she acquires in the categories of politics, psychology, popular science and history, and memoir. She looks for authors with storytelling ability and personal or professional expertise, and books with big hooks and strong points of view. Specific areas of interest include clinical psychology and mental health; contemporary and progressive politics; LGBTQ+ voices; books about books, including literary history and culture; and the macabre.

Within fiction, she looks for literary works with a genre bent (particularly speculative fiction and literary horror) and grounded literary fiction with complex characters, unconventional relationships, and psychological richness.

Books Morgan has published include the New York Times bestseller The Eyes of Gaza by Plestia Alaqad and the 2026 PEN/America finalist Dinner with King Tut by Sam Kean. Other authors she has had the pleasure of working with include Zaina Arafat, Jeremy Atherton Lin, Maureen Callahan, Craig Childs, Tom Lin, Bill Owens, Kim Stanley Robinson, David Treuer, Stephanie Wambugu, and Andrew Weissmann. Prior to joining Little, Brown, she spent several years working in clinical psychology. She began her publishing career at Grove/Atlantic.
