Maya Guthrie, Editorial Assistant

Maya Guthrie is an Assistant Editor at Little, Brown, where she is looking to acquire literary fiction with a speculative bent. She is most interested in stories that celebrate the experiences of the Black diaspora, as well as underrepresented LGBTQ+ voices. She enjoys character-driven stories, voicey prose, vividly rendered settings with a strong sense of place, and an immersive, fast-moving plot. Authors she has had the pleasure of working with include Michael Connelly, Rickey Fayne, Malcolm Gladwell, Nancy Goldstone, Nathan Harris, Adam Haslett, Elin Hilderbrand, Leslie Jamison, Nathaniel Ian Miller, Alejandro Puyana, Adam Rapp, Dan Slater, Luis Alberto Urrea, and Joe Wilkins.
