Liese Mayer, Executive Editor

Liese Mayer is an Executive Editor at Little, Brown, where she acquires literary and upmarket commercial fiction and memoir. Previously, she worked at Scribner and Grove/Atlantic and was most recently the editorial director of fiction at Bloomsbury. Liese has edited a number of celebrated writers, including bestselling and award-winning books by Tom Perrotta, Miriam Toews, Deborah Levy, Susanna Clarke, Melissa Febos, Laird Hunt, Nora Krug, Ada Ferrer, and Edmund White. She’s on the board of directors of the Center for Fiction in Brooklyn, NY, and is a co-owner of Skate Time, a roller-skating rink and community center in Accord, NY.
