Sara Dykman

Sara Dykman has spent over twenty years chasing frogs across the Americas. Between jobs as a wildlife biology technician she has walked from Mexico to Canada, canoed the Missouri River from source to sea, and cycled over 80,000 miles across North and South America. In 2017 she became the first person to cycle the entire route of the migrating monarch butterflies. The book that followed, Bicycling with Butterflies, won her the 2021 National Outdoor Book Award. She cofounded BeyondaBook.org to inspire anyone with a dream to dive in and see what happens.
