About the Author

Isabel Serna is the founder of Black Lamb Studio, a Florida-based design studio with a focus on colorful patterns, illustration, fun stationery, and product design. She was formally trained as an industrial designer and her work can be found on wallpaper, wrapping paper, textiles, stationery, and various printed media. She has collaborated with brands such as Kate Spade, Hallmark, Travelpro, Mixbook, West Elm, and Figo Fabrics. She lives with her husband, Juan, her French bulldog, Charlie, and many plants in Orlando, Florida.

Andrea Pippins is an illustrator and author who has a passion for creating images that reflect what she wants to see in art, media, and design. Her work has been featured in Essence Magazine, The New York Times, and O: The Oprah Magazine. She has produced artwork for brands such as ESPN, Five Below, Instagram, Sephora, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Malala Fund, Nick Jr., USPS and VH1. Andrea is the author of several books and journals for young readers about community and creativity, and the illustrator of Young, Gifted and Black; Step Into Your Power; and Big Ideas for Young Thinkers. Andrea is based in Stockholm.
