Barbara Hall

About the Author

Barbara Hall is an award-winning television writer/producer/showrunner. She developed and produced the CBS series Judging Amy. She also created and produced the CBS series Joan of Arcadia, which was nominated for an Emmy for Best Drama Series. Most recently she created and ran the CBS series Madam Secretary. Other writing/producing credits include Moonlighting, Northern Exposure, Chicago Hope, and Homeland. She is the author of eleven novels published by Random House, Simon and Schuster, Algonquin, and Open Road. She lives in New York City and Ojai, California.
