The Wedding Knot

Meg Reilly has ended up in a Duluth brothel, though she's not really willing to work. When the first man she's assigned is Mountie trainee Robert Bradford, she tells him that she's on the run from a past indiscretion, and he's honor-bound to protect her through the winter until he can send her safely home. Forming an unlikely alliance, both are surprised to find themselves falling in love. But even in love, Meg knows she's not the kind of decent woman he needs for the political career he wants.
