Matthew Swanson is a writer who enjoys eating enormous burritos. And small burritos. And every shape and size of burrito in between. He was born at the base of a dormant volcano in South America but went to middle school in Kansas. So far, he has written 34 books about this and that. Most of them contain verbs. All of them have pictures drawn by his wife (and good luck charm) Robbi Behr.

Robbi Behr is an illustrator who grew up in Maryland but has always spent her summers in Alaska wearing rubber rain pants and fishing for salmon. When not eating ice cream, pie, or cookies, she is usually eating candy, cake, or ice cream. Or sleeping. Occasionally she draws pictures for books written by her husband, Matthew Swanson. She has one dog, two cats, two small children, and 67 different colors of ink.
