  About The Book

In the "Postcards From Buster" TV show, an animation and live action show that launches on PBS in Fall 2004, fans of the Arthur series have the opportunity to travel along with Buster as he visits different locales around the country and meets kids and families from various socio-economic, ethnic, cultural and geographic backgrounds, as well as kids with disabilities. By providing a snapshot of different families' food, games, and holidays, as well as other aspects of their culture, this is a show that will help children gain an appreciation for America's rich cultural diversity.

A companion to the TV show, Buster Climbs the Walls is a level three reader about Buster's adventures in the Rocky Mountains where he learns all about rock climbing. Buster's new friends help him conquer his fear of climbing while teaching him about the history of the Rockies and how canyons are made.
