D.W. is bored and wants Arthur to tell her a story, but Arthur wants to go play with Pal. When D.W. suggests she come along, Arthur begins to make up excuses about why she can't join him. His excuses take them to the top of a volcano, through the jungle, across the ocean, and to meet the President in what turns out to be Arthur's best story ever.
