Rights to our classic Lois Duncan backlist are coming back to us from Random House, plus we are picking up an additional title for 10 total. We will roll-out a few titles each season beginning with Fall 10.
The full list of titles includes:

Fall 2010: I Know What You Did Last Summer; Killing Mr. Griffin; Don't Look Behind You (pending acquisition)
Spring 2011 and beyond: Summer of Fear, Down a Dark Hall, Stranger with My Face, Daughters of Eve, Locked in Time, Gift of Magic; The Third Eye

The books will be modernized with non-invasive editorial changes. The stories are the same--but now a new generation can discover the thrills and chills for themselves!
In Killing Mr. Griffin, a group of high school students think their English teacher treats them too harshly--so they kidnap their teacher to "teach him a lesson." But the plan goes all wrong when the plot results in his untimely death, and the kids are left with a mess of guilt...until they realize that one of them is a killer.
