Still broken after revealing his true identity to Anna, Trev volunteers for a Branch mission before finding out the details. He just wants to escape his own head, and working seems like the best option. He soon learns the mission is a kill mission. Trev is wary-after all, as far as he can remember, he's never killed a human being before. But he knows that if he is successful at following through with the mission, it'll help prove his shaky loyalty to the Branch. And in the long run, that's exactly what he wants. If the Branch trusts him, it'll be easier to take them down from the inside. And maybe, eventually, he can show Sam, Anna, Cas, and Nick just whose side he's on. Unfortunately, when he locates the target, he realizes it's a teenage girl with a normal life in a normal town. Why does the Branch want her dead? And can Trev be the one to pull the trigger?
Jennifer Rush began telling lies at the age of five and was immediately hooked. Fiction was far better than reality, and she spent most of her teens writing (about vampires, naturally). She currently lives in Michigan with her husband and two children, and enjoys eating ice cream in her spare time.
