Our Hip Scouts review Hate List:
Hate List by Jennifer Brown was a thrilling and heartbreaking novel. The plot never lacked suspense and the main character was relatable to any girl who's fallen in love and had regrettable consequences later. Through hardship and lessons learned, the ending to this book is something every reader should experience.

Hate List is one of the most interesting books I’ve gotten to review; I really enjoyed the way the book flashed forward and back until the whole story was revealed (reminds me a lot of Jodi Picoult). Valerie was a very likeable character, and the moral dilemma made for a very riveting read. It was an interesting topic for a book, and I really enjoyed the way Brown made the reader feel a part of Valerie's struggle.
