Our Hip Scouts Review Guardian of the Gate (Prophecy of the Sisters, Book 2)!
I loved this book as much as the first one. Lia’s character is so real and easy to connect with. The relationship she has with her sister is also something that the readers can relate to. They have a sisterly rivalry just like most sisters - even though theirs is a little more extreme. Overall, the book was very interesting and had a lot of twists and turns. The prophecy is so well explained and all the clues are so believable that you actually start to think that these kinds of things actually can be real.

Guardian of the Gate more lives up to its predecessor, Prophecy of the Sisters. Michelle Zink brings back all the great characters of the first book in addition to a set of exciting new characters, as we follow Lia in the next steps of her journey. This series is a great read for those who enjoy fantasy but do not want to get too caught up in the technicalities of a fantastical world. Zink definitely knows how to keep readers captivated with a fast-moving plot and intriguing new developments. I will be keeping my eyes out for the next book in the series!
