Author Bio
I grew up on the world’s most beautiful beaches in Panama City, Florida. I went to school at Baylor University in the great state of Texas and got an MA in Fiction from Johns Hopkins University. After a four-year tour of New York City, I was swept off my feet by a California boy and moved to San Francisco to fall in love. As of November 2008, I’m kissing my single days goodbye forever and embarking on new adventures out West. I’m a Southern girl at heart who is always on the search for decent grits in the Bay Area, and I make artisanal cheese at home. I’m currently working hard to get SCUBA certified and hope someday to make a successful piecrust.
I absolutely love hanging out on the Relevant/Radiant websites and chatting with people on the Relevant message boards. My iGoogle page has a People.com widget and I always know the latest bizarre celebrity baby name. Miley Cyrus’ site, Miley’s World, is very impressive and a ton of fun too--and if you haven’t checked out Camerin Courtney’s column called Single Minded on the Christianity Today’s site, you should! It’s so real and funny. As far as books go, I take inspiration from Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, the amazing Sarah Dessen, and older authors like C.S. Lewis. I just reread the first few books of The Chronicles of Narnia and was struck by how charming they are.
