Gail Hudson is passionate about spiritual growth and creating healthier relationships between humans and the natural world. These passions have been the foundation of her collaborations with Dr. Goodall on Harvest for Hope: A Guide to Mindful Eating and Hope for Animals and Their World: How Endangered Species Are Being Rescued from the Brink.

Her features and essays about natural health, spirituality, and personal relationships have appeared in numerous publications, including Self, Utne, Natural Health, Parents, and Good Housekeeping. Other recent books include I Wanna Be Sedated: 30 Writers on Parenting Teenagers (Seal Press) and Quarreling (Simon & Schuster).

Gail teaches classes and workshops on personal narrative and memoir writing. She is also a writing coach for numerous book writers. She lives with her husband and two children in Seattle.
