Author Bio
I grew up in San Jose, California, where the sun shines 300 days a year. I left reluctantly to go to college, and after 4 years at Princeton I moved to New York. I met May at work, and we started writing, and I met my now-husband at church, and we started dating. I’ve now been happily married for almost three years to a man who’s better to me than I deserve. Somewhere in there I got went to NYU part-time and got a master’s degree in English. I love to run, and I seem to somehow collect way more furniture than my tiny apartment allows.
I was definitely affected by Robin Jones Gunn’s Christy Miller series when I was in junior high, and I’ve always been a big fan of Melody Carlson’s books. I recently devoured the Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight books (Team Jacob).
