Grace Lin is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She is the author and illustrator of 11 picture books, and the illustrator of over ten more. She is also the author of the Newbery Honor book Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, and the beloved The Year of the Dog and The Year of the Rat. She grew up in upstate New York and now lives in Massachusetts.
